You guys, can you believe it is already August, 2012 is half over! For some reason, years go by faster and faster the older I get. Speaking of which, my birthday is coming up real soon! This outfit reminds me of a coral fest - the fest that exists in my mind.

I had a total chilled long weekend! Didn't go anywhere, didn't do much other than catching some sales online (Oh yeah! - thats what I call an excellent weekend!!)

Have a good Hump Day!! :)

Neon Coral and Navy Lace (& Habit Change)

Jeans: Thrifted ($7), Scarf: Garage ($5), Belt: Thrifted ($1), Shirt: Dynamite ($5)

As many of you might know by now that me and my husband got married a month ago. I have always envisioned us doing things together when we willl get married and start living together (as we have dated 7 years - I have ALOT of time dreaming about what things we would do together, where we would go for vacations, values we will create for our lifestyle etc.) and now I am in it - living the dream. :D

Have you heard of TED videos? It is just as addicting as Pinterest. Anywho, I watched a video there about HABIT CHANGE and they claim that it takes 30 days to change or create a new habit...

SO.

We both are young and have bad gums - we decided to create a new habit. We decided to brush 2 times a day and floss and gargle with mouthwash afterwards EVERY.DAY. (no excuses). I know I know.....isnt that a normal thing to do? Kudos to you if you do it. Well I confess that I always wanted to make this a priority but never did it.. But now we DO.IT.TOGETHER. it makes it easy and harder to just brush it off!

We have done it for 10 days already and SEEMS easier and easier everyday.

Is that any habit you have been wanting to change? Would you do it for 30 days?

Oatmeal and Coral

My sis (in-law)-to-be asked me if I wanted this sweater and there is no way I could say no, Especially bec I have been eyeing to buy EXACTLY this same sweater in the store. It is such a cute sweater, bright color adn pretty soft for 100% wool. She found it itchy but it was ok for me with a tank underneath. I wear a tank underneath anyway for extra warmth.

Its not only so soft and comfy, but its FREE - haha I love a good deal. Well, it is actaully a great deal, Thanks M!

This bright colored sweater was perfect for a cold day like today! I regret wearing the necklace though as the beads got cold fast! Ah, you live and learn!!

Pants: GAP Outlet ($15), Top: Hand me Downs - Free, Necklace: F21 ($5), Watch: Le Chateau ($10)

Coral in Winter...yes please! (WIWW)

Pants: GAP, Shirt: Rickis, Belt and Cardigan: Thrifted, Necklace: Le Chateau

The wedding is just under 3 months away and it all kinda feels like a dream! My family talks about how fast this time will go, you know with tonnes of planning still left to do. To make time go by even faster, I am hearing that I will soon be going to my bachelorette party like in few weeks and then it will be christmas and I LOVE christmas and a bridal shower in January. I feel so spoiled! 2 weddings in 2 different countries, get to celebrate 2 different cultures - best of both worlds right? I guess this is what I deserve after 2 years of sleepless nights fighting to be with my love for the rest of our lives. Someone wisely said...no pain, no gain...I believe it.

Anyways on the outfit, I just had to wear this bright color to the office to escape the cold. I just love the crochet detailing on the blouse and I paired with this leafy necklace that my mom picked up for me the other day (since I am on a shopping ban, I guess she felt bad for me! - I love it, thanks mother!)

How are you dressing to escape the cold?

Chambray and Coral - Casual Friday Look

Chambray: H&M, Skinnies - forever 21, Flats: Payless, White Cardi: Thrifted, Scarf: Fairweather

I only always considered Chambray for work looks. it has collar, has buttons you know looks like a blouse you pair for professional work looks. Sounds like a no-brainer, but only lately have I started experimenting and wore it couple of times casually. The outfit looked kinda boring so i added a pop of color - Coral and Chambray are so yummy together like milk and Oreo cookies. I am a fan of milk and oreao cookies. random I know!

I wore this outfit a while back when I had half day off work and Mr. Fiancee and I utilized it to go to the lake. It was very quiet there as parents were working and kids were in school and we both like sitting by the calm water and catch up with each other.

I am so glad it.is.the.weekend. HAPPY FRIDAY!  :)

P.S. Thanks to everyone who commented on the last bridesmaid delimma post! Your comments really helped clear my head. Thank you again :)

Day before yesteday, I wore my recently thrifted patterned skirt. I have seen many versions of this outfit on many blogs and so I decided to wear it today and got alot of compliments.
