Green Crochet and Jean Skirt

Green Crochet Tank: Joe Fresh ($6), White shirt: Thrifted ($3), Jean Skirt: GAP (thrifted via Value Village - $7), Sandals: Forever 21 ($8), Bracelet: URBAN ($10)

I recently found my jean skirt - one I thrifted 2 years ago! I love this one, perfect for summer. Decided to pair my crochet green tank and layered it with this white sheer shirt over it. Usually in the summer, I dont want to wear too many layers but this one wasn't bad as I was only running errands on the weekend. Cute and comfortable!

Happy Hump Day :D

P.S. Love this floral skirt I picked up at Wal-mart (isn't it amazing?!) My mind is bombarding with unlimited options to wear it and I cant wait to style it all summer!

Tube Top Remixing!

Tube top as Skirt: Thrifted, Tee: Urban Planet, cardigan: thrifted, necklace: F21

Tube top worn as skirt - isnt it the most gorgeous print?

I only own this tube top and havent worn it yet. Tube tops make me feel like I am showing too much skin - and who says tube tops can't be worn as skirts. I wore it last week to work and got so many compliments. I am definitely going to remix this piece much more. If you own a tube top that you just love, try wearing it as a casual skirt next time.

I think this week Mr. Fiancee and I will book our wedding photographer, videographer and DJ. Once that is booked, I can start looking at shopping for wedding dress, shoes and accessories! haha I laugh at myself because we havent even set our wedding budget yet neither have we finalized the guests list. Am I in trouble?

Our city is looking gorgeous with trees changing colors - its beautiful :) Oh how I just love fall time!!

Thanks for stopping by guys! Happy Monday!

Inspiration Outfit: Blue Florals

This floral skirt is thrifted and I missed it during the challenge so this was the first thing I wanted to wear. Finally, we saw some sunshine in E-town and it was summery and beautiful out.

I am so happy with myself how I did with the challenge....I was having so much fun remixing that before I knew it got over!(All 30 outfits here) Something I kept telling myself is Nav, you need more shoes. I mean heels. I am blessed with height so i don't wear much heels but I understand that having heels make/break an outfit. So Shoe HUNT for some comfy heels is on!

Do you guys enjoy insipartion outfit photos? I want to know your thoughts!

1. Perfect Timing

Hello lovelies, here is my first outfit of the challenge. Simple but i like it.

I took up this challenge to work with the best pieces I have (I have other good pieces but these are the summery work appropriate pieces) , I also want to learn to accessorize better and on the side, it will also help me save some $$ and shop smarter and answer the question - "What the heck is my style?" bec I am not sure.

I also look forward to breaking some rules (rules are made to be broken - right? Hopefully no police offcers are reading my post! If you are a police officer and are reading this - I am only kidding. I am only talking about fashion rules - like wearing black and brown together!

This past weekend was non- existent for me. Why you ask? Well we are getting our house built and now it is ready to move into in about a month. So we spent all weekend cleaning our current house which meant I have started packing all my non-30X30 items! Thats why this challenge comes as a perfect timing so hopefully "Out of sight, out of mind" rule will help me out

I will be posting everyday (M -F) around this time (take pics after work and post in the evening) if you are wondering when i will be posting. Also I got so much inspiration from all of you from reading your comments on my 30X30 picks- so thank you for taking the time to comment and follow along! I truely appreciate it! :)

P.S. Me and a co-worker showed up in matching outfits today. Yeah we have pretty like-minded people in our office :) How cool is that??

What are you trying to learn from this challenge and what have you learned if you have participated before? Would love to know!

Dress to Impress

I chose to not wear the typical Black suit and white buttonup for my interview on thursday this week. Instead, I decided to wear Blue button up with a black fitted blazer and my fav. grey skirt and black tights with some black heels. I wasnt sure about wearing a chunky neclace but felt like taking a risk  so went ahead with that and pearl studs.

Blue Button-up: H&M
Grey Skirt: Fairweather
Tights Suzy Shier
Blazer: Urban behavior
Studs and Necklace: Forever 21
Heels: ALDO

What is your fav. Interview outfit?

Ryan and his awesome outfit!

Ryan is learning Punjabi (my native language) so here he was impressing me with how much he is been learning and I was shocked! He can now make sentences and makes me so very proud and I cant wait to marry him in nine months!!  :)
