Coral Fest

Cardigan: George via Walmart ($11), Skirt: RICKI's ($15), Pumps: SteveMadden ($40), Watch: Fossil (gift)

You guys, can you believe it is already August, 2012 is half over! For some reason, years go by faster and faster the older I get. Speaking of which, my birthday is coming up real soon! This outfit reminds me of a coral fest - the fest that exists in my mind.

I had a total chilled long weekend! Didn't go anywhere, didn't do much other than catching some sales online (Oh yeah! - thats what I call an excellent weekend!!)

Have a good Hump Day!! :)

Romantic Pink (& Colorblocking Bag)

Tank: F21 ($3), High Wasted Pants: Suzy Shier ($15), Shoes: Payless (old - $20), Cardigan: Suzy Sheir ($10), Bag: Urban Planet (in Canada) - $25, Watch: Fossil (gift)

As soon as I laid my eyes on this bag, it was love at first sight. I had 50 ways of styling this baby (that is due to the benefits of blogging, mind you if I wasnt into blogging, I would probably not liked this bag as much).

I also love the cardigan - its soft pink with flower detail on it - I dont wear it as much I should though. I pulled it out again since pastels are IN again.

Thanks for stopping by!

Hope your day is going well! Thanks for stopping by! :)

High Waisted Pants (& Coral Lace)

Cardigan: Wal-Mart ($10), Pants: Suzy Sheir ($15), Flats: Ardene's ($10), Watch: Fossil (gift), bangles: F21 ($3)

I got my first pair of high waisted pants and I must say, they can be casual and could be dressed for work with some heels. More than anything, I just needed a bottom in this tan color :) and so for $25 on sale - I just had to have them.

Bright Mondays - Part 4!

I dont know who made the rule of not wearing black and brown together because I sometimes like to mix my neutrals. Well I jsut broke that rule, hopefully it wont break anyone's heart. I love that blue just pops.

And I braid my hair on mondays -EZ! PZ!

Pants: BR outlet ($20), Top: thrifted ($5), Cardigan: Dynamite ($10), Ring: F21 ($5), Earrings: $3

Its been a while since I have posted a "Bright Monday" outfit and since I wore a bright cardigan today and all the smiles that my outfit attracted today reminded me of the feature I do! - Bright Mondays!

Rainbows and Purple

Tank and Cardi: thrifted ($5 together), Skirt: H&M ($7), Tights: $3

I love this nailpant - combo of NYX purple and F21 bronze nail paints!

I love this rainbow shirt so much, I wear it whenever I need a "pick me up". I danced so much at the bachelorette party that my body is still sore...not bec I am not used to the dance...but bec I was in high heels all night (note to self to always pack flats), not a very samrt idea.

But I paired the pick me up shirt with a random cardigan and a pencil skirt :) This is pracitally effortless styling, what do you say?

I am starting my xmas shopping now, there is not much I am doing this year. I don't know why but I find myself questioning the consumerism of gifts for others.

Have you finished and got gifts wrapped up under the tree?

Did you hear? Glitter is in the air!

Cardigan: Old Navy ($4), Pants: GAP, Shirt and belt: Thrifted ($1 each)

I love to wear this cardigan, as it has sequins/glitter lining on it - when I saw it on the clearance rack, I thought how unique and then I saw the price tag of $4, I knew this baby is going home with me. The moment I wear it, I feel like I am ready to go to a party. I wore this to work yesterday and then to my sister's birthday surprise party after work.

One day more to go till the bachelorette party! I am so excited! All my gf's are excited too, time to dress up, put some lipstick on, let our hair down and head to the town!

Question for you guys: For the party, if I am wearing a black glam dress, should I wear a red shoe with it or go for a basic black pump?

Baby Pink

Seriously someone wisely said that a LBD is a must piece in the closet. Today we had secret santa at work and we were told to dress decent. I did not put an outfit together beforehand and so this is what I came up with in the morning. I love my darling baby pink cardigan....threw it over with my black dress, a necklace and a skinny belt that sinched everything. I am not gonna lie, I took inspiration from one of my past looks from Summer,( this look worn this summer.) So far, I have worn this LBD 4 times this year, not bad I say, given how much I have :P

Thank you to all of you hanging around my bloggy even though I was away sick. I missed you guys! I am 100% great now, thanks for your well wishes. How have you been?

Do you get a lot of use out of your LBD all year around?

Leopard in Mustard Sauce

Jeans, Belt and Cardigan: Thrifted, Top: F21

Whoa! This is a pretty much a thrifted outfit except one item. I pride msyelf on coming up with outfits that are fully or almost thrifty. I paired leopard with mustard, my favourite color cardigan in the whole wide world. I think the yellow in the leopard shirt contrasted well.

I know I am posting this outfit today but I actually wore this to work last Friday. I also liked the littled red belt peek-a-boo'ing in the outfit. I think I might gift a leopard print shirt to someone for Christmas, it is so the new basic piece in one's closet!

Have you started Christmas shopping yet? (for others?)

Bright Mondays - Part 4!

We have been having lovely weather here, it is the end of November  and with above 0 temperatures here, it is pretty much aweomse (did you notice I just misspelled Awesome?!) Not once in 10 years I have lived here, has it ever happened that I am able to wear dresses in winter time without freezing my a$$, so needless to say I am very happy.

Dress: Wal-Mart, Tights: F21, Booties: Aldo, Cardigan: RICKI's (old)

Mr. F. started a new job last week and I packed him lunch - and got really creative with the hot sauce.

Hope you had a good thanksgiving and took full advantage of Black Friday sales. Canada had few sales in the stores until XMAS, I am on a shopping ban so decided to stick to it (plus everytime I organize my closet, I think to myself - Nav you have too much stuff, please don't buy more!) I am pretty much patting myself on the back on not heading out to the stores this weekend.

What did you score from the Black Friday sales? Pls do share!

Cobalt and Leopard

Pants: BR, Leopard shirt: F21, Belt: Thrifted, Cardigan: Suzy Shier

I have been wanting to wear these 2 colors for quite some time now, and I LOVE the way it turned out. Cobalt is such a vibrant color, It was a total cold day today and the outfit was a total pick-me-up for me. Funny how clothes do that to you.

Leopard is the new basic, I have heard many times this fall. It is very true, you pair any color with it and you are pretty much ready to head out. I naturally try to be very matchy matchy and would have totally paired it with black cardigan and then what? Pairing it with color totally gets more bang out of my bucks I spent on this shirt. (which was only $15 but stilll.....)

If you liked what I wearing today: like my outfit over at Cute and Little? Its just a click away. Thank you!!

AMBUSH

Shirt: F21, Cardigan: Thrifted, Pants: GAP. Tank: F21, Earrings: Gift

Ambushing you all posting on a saturday - which I almost never do, I take weekends off from bloggy world.

This grey wool-blend cardigan (I thrifted!, SCORE) is soooo warm - you can pretty much layer any summer blouse underneath and you will be warm guranteed! How lovely are pieces like this that make our lives easy? Few years back, I would layer on 3 chunky pieces - by the time coat goes on (if it goes on), I would feel so stuffy all day. But no more, I found out the secret, invest in light-weight warm layering pieces (cashmere and wool-blend sounds nice,eh?) and one is good to go.

Saturday lesson over, Enjoy your weekend folks!

Thanks for visiting, follow the blog if you love me :)

Halloween treat

This is my halloween treat, SMARITES! I love them, I didnt dress up this year but ate alot of candy. I tried not to have too many, but I did. You know what I heard on the news that candies that come in smaller pkgs, people are more likely to eat more of them versus having way less if the candy was in a bigger packaging. Interesting, no? I agree with it, I am guilty! I have done it.

Anywho, moving to the outfit. I am in love with this outfit. I just love how color coordinated it is. My last post on how many cardi's I have, I almost thought I am crazy for collecting so many. But reading from your comments, I fugred I am not the only one. I love my new Steve Maddy boots (I have a feeling I am gonna wear these boots lots, not only are they warm, but also go with alot of things!)

Linking at pleated poppy!
What is your favourite Halloween Candy?
