Leopard in Mustard Sauce

Jeans, Belt and Cardigan: Thrifted, Top: F21

Whoa! This is a pretty much a thrifted outfit except one item. I pride msyelf on coming up with outfits that are fully or almost thrifty. I paired leopard with mustard, my favourite color cardigan in the whole wide world. I think the yellow in the leopard shirt contrasted well.

I know I am posting this outfit today but I actually wore this to work last Friday. I also liked the littled red belt peek-a-boo'ing in the outfit. I think I might gift a leopard print shirt to someone for Christmas, it is so the new basic piece in one's closet!

Men's Clothing Inspiration

I quite like how this look turned out, actually! Today at work I had an off-site meeting where I could wear business casual. This was such a comfortable outfit. Red belt as in the pop of color was so necessary. I wore my flared jeans with some heels and tried to balance out rest of the body with some tight fitted tunic with a grey vest and long necklaces.

Sounds simple and you can do it too. How? by getting inspired. came across this photo! and thought if he can pull it off, so can I.

Nice and Girly

Fiancee called this look a" nice and girly look"- mind you pictures were taken after work so I look a little tired and groggy. In the morning, i looked more put together and had lip gloss on. End of story.

I wore this dress last time with a safe option - a brown belt. Well, today I wanted to spice things up a bit. And by spice, I think cinnamon and cinnamon is red - so red belt it was that was gonna sinch my waist. You like army with red? Its diffferent, isn't it? But hey, yesterday I paired pink with army colored skirt, it went and you guys liked it. So I am sure red will just fly.

Did red fly with army green here?

Hi Everyone. Long time no talk. I missed you bloggy. Sorry about the overload on the outfit posts.

Which one is your fav of all three?? I think I like the first one. And it was super easy!

Weekend Nuggets:

• Chilled at home on Friday after work with parents. I feel so low on energy these days. Will blame it on the sickness I am coming out of.
• Yesterday went to a family friends house for dinner - gave me a chance to look decent. It was fun, ate too much!
• I want to go SHOPPING!
• Cleaned my room
• Helped dad in cleaning around the house, fixing things because we will be selling our home in a month or two.
• I <3 Activia yogurt with granola! Having it right now
• My babe is busy writing finals in the next 2 weeks. Cant wait for him to finish up grad studies. But wait, there is thesis.
• Watched 'little miss sunshine" on youtube this weekend. Love that movie. Have you seen it?
• Since weather is warming up now, I think its time I store my sweaters and take summer wardrobe out.
• I need to start planning for my wedding -  the indian and canadian bridal dress, what henna designs, hair updo's...I know I will put it off...BECAUSE I DONT KNOW WHERE TO START. Maybe thats why wedding planners exist?

How was your weekend?? I am off to cooking some chicken breast with all the Indian spices, rice and salsa (yum right?), if it turns out good, I will share the receipe.

It is one of those lazy days. I had a pretty busy week so its good to relax once in a while! I only did one thing today. Woke up at noon.( I love sleeping in!!!!!!!!!! but now my weekday schedule is totally screwed - but no pain, no gain right???? right.) Then had breakfast made by my lovely mama, then I took shower, blogged and then went grocery shopping. Originally I was planning to just wear sweats to wal-mart. But I love you guys too much, so decided to actually try hard and dress up decent. It was super comfy regardless, so it was a win-win =]

I think I like the outfit better with the scarf! I usually tie this scarf around my purse, but today I ditched the purse and took the scarf! Ha! and wore some simple accessories gifted by wonderful man.

One lesson I am learning through this challenge is : Powerfulness of accessories a in bringing an outfit together!
