Remember my recent thrifted pants - the ones above - yeah these are fun to style!
Oh how my hubby makes me laugh!
And bec of that I am out of control here, and once I start laughing, no one can stop me. I was laughing so hard I couldnt even stand straight
I also got this vest gifted from my mom-in-law. She doesnt wear and I needed it, so before it could make it to the thrift store, I found it in my closet.
and yes, thats my husband and our random goofiness!
2012 is our year, is a year where my best friend and I will get married. Only a girl's heart can know how she feels when there are few days left for her to get married. There are so many emotions running through my heart and mind these days.
The excitement to be searching for THE wedding dress, then sad emotions about parting with my family soon after the wedding, amazement on how far R and I have come and become so much stronger than we have ever been
Vest: Hand me downs, Boots: S.M., Pants: GAP ($15), Plaid: thrifted ($7)
and then the next moment, I get so much more happy to think about new things we would do as newlyweds and start our new life together - a new chapter in life, sometimes feel anxious wondering if everything would go ok. In fact, I wont be suprised if there would be some bumps along the way. and that is ok, nothing is perfect. Well except GOD.
Infact, my only resolution this year to Enjoy more, Laugh more and Worry less, esp about things not in our control and I wanna share my new favourite song with all of you called "Don't Worry, Be Happy" by Bob McFerin.
What is your "things/habits to improve on" for this new year!?
Jeans: GAP, Gingham Shirt: Old Navy, Vest: Thrifted
Some days I just feel like rocking menswear and this vest is absolutely my favorite piece to create such looks. This also qualifies for my grey outfit (NEUTRALS) for the challenge.
Grey and Gingham made a fun combo, I like its simplicity and effortlessness. Hoping you like it.
I am on this new thing called PINTERST, pin it, if you liked it:
I didnt have my photographer around today and this is my best shot at taking some clumsy photos
A day of no-makeup!
Today was a kind of hurry Monday. Woke up late, didn't have time to get rready (I have been lucky with no pimples lately). I have had this blue sleeve shirt for so long and never did I pair it with my grey vest. It looks nice but I think the scarf tied it all together. Guys, I didn't have Mr. Fiancee around me to take photos so these are my best attempt. I argued with myself whether I should post these bad quality photos or not, then I thought what the heck? I will post bec I think this is an outfit worth sharing, plus sharing is caring anD I care about you all very much.
How was your Monday?
(P.S. I am super pumped about the wedding in INDIA!)
I quite like how this look turned out, actually! Today at work I had an off-site meeting where I could wear business casual. This was such a comfortable outfit. Red belt as in the pop of color was so necessary. I wore my flared jeans with some heels and tried to balance out rest of the body with some tight fitted tunic with a grey vest and long necklaces.
Sounds simple and you can do it too. How? by getting inspired. came across this photo! and thought if he can pull it off, so can I.
.Skirt: Thrifted, Heels: Steve Madden, Shirt: Old Navy, Vest: Foreva 21
I tried this look for this week Tippy Tuesdays Episodes and found that I fell in love with the look. Since this week was kind of "LAST Summer week", I took full advantage and wore a casual jean skirt to work.
I recently got this Madden Luxe heels for work - do I ever love them! They are so comfortable, for walking around office all day.
What are your plans this weekend? I am taking a good friend out for her birthday and hanging out with Mr. Fiancee!!I also need to choose my bridal colors and bridal party and need to go looking for the Canadian Bridal dress (According to my Wedding planning book)..Looks like pretty fun weekend!
What are your plans? Thanks for stopping by! Happy Friday!
Since it is Back To School period after the Labor Day Long weekend, I had to take this opportunity to present 3 easy back to school looks using one vest. The vest, I had bought from Forever 21 a month and a half ago (Lucky for you, now its on for sale!) I find it to be very versatile. I create many casual and work related looks with it and using many ideas from fellow bloggers, the options to use these vest are unlimited!
