Bright and Cheerful Mondays!
I didnt have my photographer around today and this is my best shot at taking some clumsy photos
A day of no-makeup!
Today was a kind of hurry Monday. Woke up late, didn't have time to get rready (I have been lucky with no pimples lately). I have had this blue sleeve shirt for so long and never did I pair it with my grey vest. It looks nice but I think the scarf tied it all together. Guys, I didn't have Mr. Fiancee around me to take photos so these are my best attempt. I argued with myself whether I should post these bad quality photos or not, then I thought what the heck? I will post bec I think this is an outfit worth sharing, plus sharing is caring anD I care about you all very much.
How was your Monday?
(P.S. I am super pumped about the wedding in INDIA!)

The Wedding Situation - Revisted*
This weekend was awesome to say the least! Friday we kicked off our weekend visiting the in-laws to discuss something about the wedding.. Everyone was under the impression that we are going to discuss whether the wedding in canada will be one day-or 2- day wedding.
Instead dad dropped the GREAT NEWS BOMB. Remember here, when we dropped the idea of getting married in India bec family was not happy and so I cried for weeks about it until I decided to except the situation and decided to get marrried here in Canada.
The great news is: WEDDING WILL BE IN INDIA!!!!!!!!!!!!! As if you ask the universe and no matter how hard we try to change the situations, what's written will happen. OMG, You guys I am so happy i wish you could see my face right now. Dad dropped the bomb and everyone was so relieved and happy that family back home accepted the differences and encouraged my dad to have wedding in India. I have recieved unlimited texts from my cousins who first weren't able to attend in Canada and now everyone on my family can. MY GRANDPARENTS will be part of the weddin, just how I wanted. THANK GOD! and positive people in my life and bloggy world who prayed for my wishes to come true.
After wedding in India, we will still host reception in Canada for friends and family - a dinner and dance party for them who cannot come to India with us. I think we will still keep the canadian themed reception - I will wear the white dress and my bridesmaid etc. etc. I dont want to take fun stuff away from my girlfriends. WOW, SO MUCH TO LOOK FORWARD TO!
BEST of all, WEDDING was in 9 months in Canada, but now bec we are planning to go to india, WE GET MARRIED IN 4 MONTHS! 18 weeks! 126 days! countdown is SO ON! hahaha
It is sooooooooooo stressfful here to plan the wedding, I am so beyond glad it worked out for me(I was getting booked with 8 days full of appointments- appts after work and on the weekend like no time to breathe) Things are DIFFERENT in India!! you pay and get work done, sit back and actually enjoy the wedding!!!
Thanks for listening, I cant wait to fill in with all the Indian details now. Stay Tuned!

Shopping: Behind the Scenes
A few weeks back, I was in H&M and went window shopping. Little that I know, I would end up trying a few items on. While I was on there, I thought of taking pictures and show you what I tried and what I actually bought. If you are like me, I ususally try alot of things but try to only buy the ones I think are worth the money or I can see myself wearing the item over and over again.
I tried a bright orange cardigan, 2 dark blue capes, a lace top, a blazer and a tunic. Enjoy!

I liked the color but not the fit - didn't get it even though it was $14 only.
Navy blue cape - loved it , is so comfortable.
cropped navy blue lace top -
long tunic - looked better in hangers lol
another cape - quality wasn't amazing on this one.
I tried on 7 things, left the store with 3. I like to take pictures of myself with each item on (totally gonna do it in future too), taking a picture and seeing yourself wearing the product helped me decide what to purchase and what not to. Can't believe , I didnt think of doing this before.
What strategy do you use when going shopping to make sure you don't overbuy?

Fall Trend: Berry Hues
It rained last week and when it rains in fall - that means cold. I checked the weather and it was predicted to be just beautiful with mr. sun shining...I knew it was time to wear my berry skirt.
I loved this look, even I have been dressing for days - I havent really been feeling like I have been making an effort to get ready in the morning. I haven't been feeling full on energy past few days but this morning I got to sleep in (thank god!) and then I "got ready". The color of the skirt is just perfect for fall, isn't it?
I am also linking up at WIWW partay! =)

Dressing up Basics
Some days I feel like putting no effort into my outfits, like today. Weekend was jam packed with work, classes and some dress shopping. As much fun it was, i didn't feel like getting up this morning. I was soo tired!!! Needless to say, I wanted to stay in PJ's all day long! But I am a grown up girl with obligations a.k.a. Work...so I finally dragged myself out of bed after 4 snoozes and threw on some jeans and a this soft grey sweater from F21. I thrifted this statement necklace back in March! I cant believe I havent worn it since. Shame on me, it was sitting on my dresser for 7 months. I loved this comfy "dressing up basics look"
This is what I did on SUNDAY! Will post more later...just a little tease for now! =)
if you liked this and want to see more, let me know. I will create another post about wedding dresses as part of the wedding series!

Reporting from H&M Store
Did I ever tell you I am in love with H&M???? and because Mr. Fiancee's mom got me a gift card from that store for my birthday - I had to go pay a visit. I went and you guys they have such awesome fall colors in the store. They have beautiful and warm dresses and blazers and what else you name it - they have it. I love trendy pieces there and they are affordable. Next post, I will share more of the goodies from the store - and what I bought and what I didn't.
AND what you see above is the outfit I wore! The shoes were given to me by my dear friend, are they gorgeous or what? - I love you S!
You know that jacket I was debating whether to keep or not - I am gonna keep it. The collar has some suede material on it which reduces the itchiness a bit and mom says when the weather gets cold, I wont even notice the itchiness. plus its plaid and sooo cute and has elbow patches...I decided to keep it. Plus you know "Moms are always right" ;)
