Me and my husband went out wit another couple to the Red Piano here in our city. I am not sure if this resturant is also in USA or other cities in Canada, but they have resturant, live piano concert which turns into a club later on in the night. We were out there for a total of 5 hours and we dressed up for the occassion!

I got this dress couple of weeks ago and love it for summer, it can be dressed up with some funky heels or can also be dressed down with a pair of sandals.

This is what I wore to a recent families get-together! Peach and red, not a combo I would have usually put together but I find these red wedges so comfortable and want to pair them with everything :)

I wore this as I went out with a friend last night out for dinner. Leopard and red are becoming my new favourites!

I had oatmeal for lunch today, I will spare you the reasoning behind it. I eat breakfast food for lunch and dinner now a days; Like 2 days ago, I decided to make pancakes for dinner. Breakfast food tastes alot better at night time, try it out sometime :) Its a nice way to break up usual routine ;)

25. Are we there yet?

Alright, so this weekend I had an engagement party to attend! I had no outfit planned but wanted to wear something decent. Ithought, what the heck, just cheat and wear some nice shirt and a skirt that is not part of the mix. But it was raining, so then decided against the skirt, put in my flared jeans (that are part of the mix), throw some pink in and topped it off with a red cropped jacket and threw on a leaopard print on top for warmth..and VOILA~ this is what you get. Not bad right? I quite like it, actually =]

End of story. It felt good to not cheat!

24. Yay! Its Friday....

Finally, I put on this comfy dress - A.KA PJ's for Work. Did I mention my new work area is pretty casual so I wore this today for work! I was so comfy all day in it that I fell asleep on my desk around 3pm today. OOPS.

And my accessories....

We decided to take photos with the kids in the park near the play area except THEY RAN AWAY when they saw the camera. Lesson LeARNED: Kids don't like girls wearing maxi dresses.

Oh, I miss being a kid. Although, as a kid I had very little pocket money and no independence. So I will just take whatever I am now - a grown-up women. :)

23. My FaV ShOeS

So you know I picked 4 different shoes in the 30X30 mix. BUT I keep wearing the same ONE shoes, the ones I am wearing above - because they are practical. I like wearing small to no heel, this one has a kitten heel - Perfection! BUT I know I need to invest more into some comfortable practical shoes. Tell me some online websites for nice heel please?

20. Sunset

Have you ever spend $400 on yourself? If you haven't, would you spend $400 on yourself - for your own happiness!?

Some days I just wonder when it comes to myself, I would try to save money here and there and I don't usually think about treating myself or something. If I end up paying for a manicure for going out with friends, I would secretely think about it  for days - that why did I spend so much money on my nails? Sounds ridiculous, doesn't it?? 

Oh yeah - Outift......I like it, its feminine. We went out yesterday to R. parents 30th weddiing anniversary BBQ and this is what I wore. It was a beautiful day out so I took full advantage and then took pics while the sun was setting in my bestie's palace :) Isnt lighting jsut the msot amazing one when the sun is setting :)

17. Surprise

I am really surprised at myself. I adore this one top and wear it ALL the time. Because I love jewel tones and it has ruffles. But in this challenge I totally forgot about it that I even had it in the pile.

Since purple is and red are in the same family, I had thought of pairing them in my mind, but they work beautifully no? This was something totally out of my comfort zone but the red in the outfit also gave me a chance to use my new clutch!

It was casual thrusday at work (also my last day in the job, I start the new job on Monday, wohoo!). We had a double date planned after work. I ditched my everyday bag to this beautiful clutch for the evening. Its a great investment and only for $15. I love me a good deal! :)

We all went out for dinner and wished our other besties were around too (Sarah and Shabs) but one was working and the other out of town. We had so much fun! We had many reasons to celebrate - Belated Mothers day for both moms, bhumi graduating from medical school, me getting promoted... it was amazing time...we talked and laughed and since bhums is done her medical studies, she was telling us some funny and sad stories from her patients. Congratulations Dr. Bhojak, you make us all so proud! :D

     Edmonton is the new WINDY CITY. It has been windy - 50 Km/Hr type of winds the entire week!

This pants have a sentinmental value for me. I bought them from Garage 5 years ago and they were $10! Yeah but I bought it with a friend who is my bestie now! I love you Megha and we call them "our" pants. It brings warm memories of her and I hanging out in the city (now shes moved away - lives 6 hours away) whenever I wear this pants and they are perfect Classic Cargo summer capris (they never go out of style).

I am in love with this thrifted top and my recent $1 thirfted necklace from Goodwill.

What else I did this weekend:

Since its been stressful at home lately - it will be until I get married I supposse  - I visited Bath and Body works on friday and i wanted to try these 2 aromatherapy scents. One is Lavendar Spearmint - Anti-Stress and the other is Orange Ginger - Energy.

I love how they smell and help me unwind :) They are def my NEW LOVE!

I bought this nude-pink bag last fall from ALDO. and Its my new staple this spring. I love the color of it, and it holds everything I need in a day - Book, lunch, water bottle, spare flats, keys and some other junk. haha

And my fav perfume! I got it as a Christmas gift from my mom-to-be last year. Christian Dior - I wear this only on special occassion but I felt like treating myself this weekend so wore it. Love the light smell of it :)
