“For today and its blessings, I owe the world an attitude of gratitude.” - Unknown (Cognac)

I know I havent popped in here in a while (by that I mean 2 days!) but here is my Cognac post (part of the neutrals challenge).

Dear readers, you guys are so wonderful. Thank you for your well wishes on my last post and please know it is ALL because of your well wishes, that - I am 90% better! :) I am not gonna lie, I havent nad much energy to take any outfit photos. I wore the above in fall 2011 in October I think but I never got around to posting until now...

On a totally random note, I want to share something. I love Christmas season. Do you? Before I met Ryan  (and bec my family doesnt celebrate xmas, it was the most boring-est day of my life. Bec malls, theatres, resturants...everything was closed that day....no way to entertain yourself). But now, I love it, I love to see his family, cusions, grandparents and just have fun, exchange presents, yummy food.....and the list goes on. I am greatful for all of this goodness.

Are you enjoying Christmas Season this year?

MensWear (Greys)

Jeans: GAP, Gingham Shirt: Old Navy, Vest: Thrifted

Some days I just feel like rocking menswear and this vest is absolutely my favorite piece to create such looks. This also qualifies for my grey outfit (NEUTRALS) for the challenge.

Grey and Gingham made a fun combo, I like its simplicity and effortlessness. Hoping you like it.

Celebrating TANZANIA!!

I wore this outfit to a recent work party. We were celebrating Tanzania 50th year since they gained independence. I had purchased this necklace last year from a local festival here at a Tanzanian stall, so I thought this would be a perfect occasion to wear this necklace. I know I did not take a photograph of the shoes, but I wore it with my red wedges (which will be featured on the blog soon, promise!)

Being from India, I am just so fond of jewellery. I also love to collect different kinds of jewellery from different countries. This one is so chunky and makes a statement.

Linking up to this challenge - a half-day late - challenge is to rock BLACK.

Do you own/love any ethnic jewellery?

Bright Mondays - Part 4!

Bag and Top: H&M, Boots: Steve Madden, Pants: GAP, Jewellery: F21, Coat: URBAN

The shopping ban for November is done. If you want to see how I did, be sure to checkout last month's outfit roundup and let me know how I did.

I wore the above outfit this weekend to get some xmas shopping done. I paired turquoise top with my tan blazer and paired it with some gold jewellery. We are keeping things low-key with xmas shopping this year as everyone is saving up for the wedding in India. Wow, just about 60-70 days till we go and get married in btwn family and friends.

My bachelorette (SURPIRSE party I should mention) is coming up in 2 weeks too, cant wait to see what girls are cooking. I dont know anything, nada....sometimes you just gotta enjoy life through moments like this, where other loved ones take over and deliver. I am greatful to have such loving people in my life :)

Any ideas on what to wear to MY Bachelorette Party? Never been to one.

Hope you had an awesome weekend. Thank you for stopping by!

Lucky Shirt

You know last time I wore this tunic was a while back, now that I think about it. I remember it so vividly because I wore it on the day I got this promotion. There is also another story behind these shirt. Weird, how I tell stories about my clothing. Does that make me crazy?

People wear Christmas sweaters on Christmas, I wear tunics...Therefore this is also my Christmas shirt...but since summer it has become my lucky shirt. Just the other day I wore this outfit and was walking around the mall, and I put in a draw at a booth and found out today I won a gift card to the local mall here.Ha!

Besides everything, I love to wear this tunic because it is comfortable but it also has ruffles and the length is just perfect for my long torso.

Other times I have remixed this tunic: (I thought you might be interested!)

Outfit Flashback: Nov 2011

I love how much color I wore this month! I just love colors so much that my bachelorette party theme is black, I am having trouble.

Anyways, something I wanted to give a try in this month was pairing leopard with more colors - I think red works well but boy! do i love mustard with it and cobalt blue with it. I try to wear blazers alot in winter but bec we have been having awesome temperatures around here (knock on wood) I have been leaning towards cardigans. I also gave Mr. poncho a try too! I notice that I wear black bottoms alot, I am gonna try to mix it up a little for Dec! Maybe I can score some red/cobalt blue jeans?! that will spice things up eh?

Which outfit (s) is your favourite?
