Celebrating TANZANIA!!

I wore this outfit to a recent work party. We were celebrating Tanzania 50th year since they gained independence. I had purchased this necklace last year from a local festival here at a Tanzanian stall, so I thought this would be a perfect occasion to wear this necklace. I know I did not take a photograph of the shoes, but I wore it with my red wedges (which will be featured on the blog soon, promise!)

Being from India, I am just so fond of jewellery. I also love to collect different kinds of jewellery from different countries. This one is so chunky and makes a statement.

Linking up to this challenge - a half-day late - challenge is to rock BLACK.

Do you own/love any ethnic jewellery?

  1. I think you have the best collection of jewelry. This necklace is no exception!
I have a beautiful necklace that my Aunt in Taiwan designed for me. It incorporates knots that echo the symbol for double happiness. Very special.

  10. That necklace is absolutely gorgeous!! I have some ethnic jewelry - it's very yellow gold given to me for our wedding. It's beautiful but I don't wear it very often because I'm afraid of losing it! That's silly, I know!
